Cooperative and microfinance banking software, made for Nigeria
Every naira, every member, every loan. In one trusted place.
One system for cooperative societies, microfinance institutions, workplace credit units, and SACCOs: member records, savings, share capital, loans, approvals, and board-ready accounts. Members check their balance without calling the secretary.
Fully managed. Nothing to install, host or maintain.
- Double-entry books
- Two officers on every payout
- Transaction PIN and two-factor login
- Paystack and Flutterwave, credited only after settlement
Built for societies that already know their members by name.
- 01Workplace cooperativesPayroll deductions posted from one file.
- 02Thrift and credit societiesContributions, savings, and loans in one register.
- 03Community SACCOsBranches and chapters under one board.
- 04Staff and faculty unionsUnit leaders in place. One set of books.
The register
A missing figure is how trust leaves a society.
Same six failures, usually found the week of the AGM. The fix is a posting, not a new spreadsheet. Drag the handle to see the old register.
The old way · Minute book, page 14
- Contributions written by hand, reconciled at month-end, if anyone reconciles them.
- Loan approvals chased on WhatsApp and paper forms.
- Members calling the secretary to learn a balance.
- Guarantors who were never told they are on the loan.
- AGM accounts that take weeks, and still do not tie.
- One missing figure, and the room goes quiet.
SocietyFlow ✓ Dr = Cr · balanced
- 01Each deposit is verified, then posted to a ledger that balances.
- 02A loan moves from Credit Committee to Financial Secretary to President, with a sign-off at each desk.
- 03Members open their own balances, statements, and loans.
- 04A guarantor endorses in the app, with a transaction PIN.
- 05Trial balance, balance sheet, and Income and Expenditure come from the same books.
- 06Every kobo has an audit line that the app cannot edit or delete.
The product
The jobs your officers already do.
One platform for members, money, and the board. Nothing here is a side product.
One profile. One account number. No second file.
Onboard a member, check the identity document, and place them in a unit, branch, or chapter. The board still sees the whole society.
- 01Identity sits with the personNIN, international passport, driver's licence, or voter's card, with next of kin on the same profile.
Set the product once. Interest follows the naira.
Build the products your bye-laws already name. SocietyFlow accrues interest daily and posts it on the schedule you chose.
- 01Ordinary and target savingsA named goal, an amount, and a date. The member sees the gap.
Savings can be withdrawn. Shares are ownership.
SocietyFlow keeps equity off the withdrawable balance, pays a declared dividend onto the member's account, and redeems shares on the rule in your bye-laws.
- 01A dividend needs twoBoard co-authorisation before members are credited.
A screenshot is not a deposit.
Online, at the bank, member to member, by payroll, or out as a withdrawal. Each one posts only after it is verified.
- 01OnlinePaystack or Flutterwave. Credited after verified settlement, not on a callback alone.
The AGM pack comes from the ledger.
Financial statements are not a second spreadsheet. They are the ledger, printed for the room.
- 01The three statementsTrial balance, balance sheet, and Income and Expenditure, plus the AGM pack.
Loans
No disbursement without the signatures your bye-laws name.
Officers design the product. Members apply online. The file moves desk to desk. Guarantors, the schedule, repayments, and arrears stay on the same loan.
Member
01 · Apply
The member picks a product, an amount, a tenure, and guarantors.
- Two officers, always. The officer who approves a loan can never be the one who pays it out.
- Eligibility can be capped at a multiple of savings, such as 2× or 3×. The approval chain is yours to set.
- Interest can be flat, reducing balance, or a custom schedule. The member sees the full schedule first.
Sample file. Not a member record.
Security
The officer who prepares a payout cannot approve it.
No single login, mistake, or glitch should be able to move members' money alone. The controls below are how that rule is enforced.
- 2,500+automated tests. Every screen is checked at phone, tablet, and desktop widths.
- 2officers required on every payout.
- 100%of postings are double-entry. An entry that does not balance does not post.
Rules, not a survey. Design guarantees, not customer results.

Same books
Members see their money. The board sees the society.
Different desks, one ledger. Each person sees what their role needs, and nothing that it does not.
The member desk
Members do their own looking, on a phone browser.
- Available now, balance, and on hold, with a hide control
- Savings goals
- Loan status and the next installment
- Transfers, deposits, and withdrawal requests
- Statements, and SMS and email alerts sent once
The executive desk
A queue instead of a WhatsApp thread.
- Cash at bank, against waiting withdrawals
- Loan book and arrears, by PAR band
- The action queue, oldest first
- Deposit exceptions from reconciliation
- Unit and member counts
The auditor's view
The books, and the trail behind them.
- A ledger where every posting balances
- Closed periods that reject new entries
- An audit trail the app cannot edit or delete
- Trial balance, balance sheet, and Income and Expenditure on demand
How it starts
Four steps to the first posting.
We set up SocietyFlow with your officers. You bring the bye-laws and the member list.
- 01Seat the societyName, logo, and colours, the units, and the executives. The society gets its own public site.
- 02Match the bye-lawsCreate savings and loan products that match the bye-laws.
- 03Open the accountsImport members from Excel or CSV, register them at the desk, or issue signup codes.
- 04Take the first depositThe books move with it.
A Fully Managed Service
We run the platform. You run the society.
- HostingNothing to install. No server at the society.
- UpdatesNew releases arrive without an IT person.
- Backups and monitoringRun and watched for you.
- OnboardingProducts, units, and officers set up with your executive.
Tell us how the society is organised. The quote follows that, not a public price list.
Questions
Questions officers actually ask.
Thrift and credit societies, workplace cooperatives, staff unions, and community SACCOs.
Yes. Officers set rates, limits, tenures, fees, and penalties. No code change.
Online through Paystack or Flutterwave, by bank transfer with proof of payment, or by a payroll file the society uploads.
They receive a request in the app and endorse with a transaction PIN. If your rules say so, part of their savings is held and released when the loan is repaid.
Postings balance. Payouts need two officers. Money movements need a PIN. Sensitive actions are written to a trail the app cannot edit.
Yes. The portal works in a phone browser. A documented API can power a dedicated app. There is no store listing to download yet.
One settlement. Outstanding loans are netted against savings. Share capital follows the bye-laws. The remainder is paid out. History stays. The account number is not reused.
No. SocietyFlow is a managed service. IChannel Technologies hosts it, applies updates, runs the backups, and watches the system. Your officers and members need a browser and an internet connection.
SocietyFlow is developed by OHR Systems and managed by IChannel Technologies. IChannel Technologies runs the service and is your contact from the demo onward.
Yes. Trial balance, balance sheet, the Income and Expenditure statement, and the AGM pack come from the ledger.
